Studio Swine is a cross-disciplinary design practice by Azusa Murakami and Alexander Groves. Azusa graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Alexander from the Ruskin School of Fine Art Oxford before both going on to study MA Design Products at the Royal College of Art.

Studio Swine is interested in the emotional function of objects, the stimulation of conceptual design discourse, and the transformation of the undesired and overlooked into objects of attraction. Studio Swine explores desire with social & environmental sustainability, believing that desire is the most powerful instigator of change and action.

Operating in the fields of art, design & fashion, Studio Swine has exhibited at the Barbican Art Centre, Victoria & Albert Museum, New York & London Fashion Week and Gwangju Biennale 2011 curated by Ai Wei Wei.
